Vera Weber is a composer, producer, keyboardist, songwriter, and multidisciplinary artist working between Los Angeles and Europe. Her practice moves fluidly across film, television, records, installation, and experimental performance, exploring world-building through sound and image. Moving between piano, harpsichord, voice, synthesizers, and electronics, her musical language embraces preparation, sampling, tape, time-stretching, and live processing. Her practice further unfolds through analog photography and 16mm moving-image work, where sound and image converge into a shared artistic language. An active member of Los Angeles's experimental music community, Weber's debut multimedia release, A Soft Lunacy (Orenda Records), brings these practices together through prepared piano, electronic playback, analog photography, and experimental film.
